The primary objectives behind the design developed for this project might best be found in the title, Stop and Glow. Stop: Bus stop. Who is the patron waiting for the bus and what might make their experience more enjoyable? The cool mutations of RGB (Red, Green, Blue) and liquefied surfaces are meant to provide a soothing oasis from the hot desert sun. Glow: illumination. Lit from within, the night time experience of the work imagines drivers zooming by. It aims to conjure film stills, a narrative in cool tones of drops stopped in time. These quiet moments are offered in counterpoint to the nocturnal acceleration of the urban neon landscape.
