The artist will also provide concepts for tree guards, but will not fabricate them.
This project is part of the re-alignment of the Main Street/Commerce Corridor which will feature widened sidewalks, improved lighting and landscaping, and the addition of bike racks and other amenities.

INFORMATION: The City of Oklahoma City’s Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs is seeking to establish a new pre-qualified pool of artists and artist teams for consideration in upcoming public art projects.
Any professional artist or artist team is eligible to apply. If artists are applying as a team, the team should be declared in the letter of interest, specifying a team leader to receive notifications. The published list of artists will also be made available to neighborhoods, districts, schools and private developers hoping to incorporate public art into their development projects.

BUDGET:Successful applicants will receive grants ranging from $25,000 to $150,000 over one or two year periods, with a maximum total award of $150,000 per year.
INFORMATION:The Surdna Foundation is issuing a request for proposals to individual artists, culture bearers and nonprofit arts organizations. These funds are designed to support projects developed in response to communities' specific challenges and to support artists and organizations whose long-term, deeply-rooted work has increased social engagement without necessarily being explicitly "activist." The foundation will consider all artistic disciplines, including cross-disciplinary work. The Surdna Foundation will offer two webinars to answer questions. The first of these calls will take place on Tuesday, September 23 at 4:00 p.m. (EDT). The second will take place on October 21 at 1:00 p.m.

BUDGET: Will Not Exceed $50,000
INFORMATION: The artist’s fee for this project will not exceed $50,000. The fee for this project is all-inclusive of costs such as artist’s design fee, all travel, presentations to City Staff and interested parties, city meetings, insurance, sales tax, fabrication, installation and any other associated costs. The artist shall collaborate with the selection panel to develop the project scope, concepts and final installation plans.

The project will be the second installation of an artist-designed transit shelter.
The selection panel will review artists’ submissions, resumes and letters of interest. Selected artists may be interviewed by the panel. The top two candidates selected will enter into a contract to develop a concept model and design work for the project. The budget currently proposed is $1,500 per selected candidate to include design work, travel if necessary, and to meet with the selection committee. Following design approval, the final candidate will receive a contract for the fabrication and installation of the shelter artwork.

INFORMATION: The Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture’s Public Art Program is requesting qualifications from artists to create signature works as part of the modernization of the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport Terminal 3. The modernization of Terminal 3, a 35-year-old facility, will incorporate new finishes, façades, infrastructure and specialty systems, and provide the City of Phoenix with a bold space that acts as a front door for travelers to the city and state. The project offers several opportunities to integrate major artworks into the building architecture and create stand-alone landmarks that can be experienced from multiple perspectives inside the terminal.

INFORMATION: Denver Fire Station 35 is being constructed at 75th Ave. and Peña Blvd. to provide landside fire and rescue services to travelers, employees and visitors of Denver International Airport (DEN), including but not limited to service of the new Westin Hotel and the overall Hotel and Transit Center. Denver Fire Station 35 will be positioned between Peña Blvd. and 75th on Jackson Gap Road. Design of the new facility has begun and construction of the new facility will begin in spring 2015. The DEN Art and Culture’s Public Art Program is currently soliciting applications for an exterior commission for Denver Fire Station 35 – either an integrated work on the southern façade or a free-standing piece on the west side of the property. INFORMATION: The Syracuse Urban Renewal Agency (SURA), a public benefit corporation of the City of Syracuse, NY, seeks a qualified, multidisciplinary team to plan, design and develop construction specifications for a public space in the center of Downtown Syracuse, New York. The project will transform an underutilized plaza and green space in Downtown Syracuse into an active and inviting public space, encompassing urban and landscape design and context sensitive public art.

This is a two stage proposal process. In the first stage, respondents are requested to present their qualifications that demonstrate experience and expertise in the areas of urban and landscape design, context-sensitive public art, and public participation. Because public art is an integral component of this project, a public artist must be part of the project team.

INFORMATION: The goal of the project is to develop a viable, permanent public art project for All Seasons of Oro Valley including its final installation at four different locations on campus. These “to scale” sculptures of local wildlife, flora and fauna are to be placed into a natural setting.
